Last thing we all half-assed guessed we asked/assumed around 600, and we were told it should be less.

Aside from this sentence not making a whole lot of sense, the key word is "should." After a while, you'll come to realize that until it's written in black and white, assumptions are just, well, assumptions. I do "hope" to see them in the $500 range, as I'd consider picking up a set.

And how many modified Contours do you see driving around our area? Yea none! The only ones you see are the ones on the CEG or a CEG meet. This is silliest thing I've ever heard. Bunch of broke arse teens drive them now. Don't see them ploping $500 down on head lights since their car is worth $2k.

Reasons why (sadly) the Morettes will not sell that well:
1. CEG is infamous for being cheap.
2. CEG is infamous for being a lot of talk. "Interest check" on GBs and new parts is more like a "Wish List".
3. The "new generation" of CEG owners are more budgeted than previous years.
Given the high dollar amount (IF they are in the $500-$600 range as speculated), if 50 people have said they want the Morettes, I would say maybe 1/3 will actually buy them.
