i dont know if you know how production works but products are not created overnight. it takes time and money and a DOT certification to get these lights ready for sale. morette is on their fourth contour prototype now to get the perfect fit and quality assurence that only morette provides its customers with. i am in contact with morette usa and communicating with them weekly. please show some patience and understanding to how the process works and be thankful that they are making us lights.
IIRC, the ones Mike had at the EOSB was the second prototype, so now if they're on the fourth, things are moving along well. Not fast enough , but since we're getting something we've all been wanting ever since I can remember (over 2 1/2 years), we still need to be patient, especially with the one who got the whole thing started, hand Mikey.

Just think... if it wasn't a CEG'er who was testing the prototypes, you might not even know about the lights until they're released. The problem is we knew from the start of the process, so the wait seems long.

actually the process started 4 months before i told you guys. i was waiting to actually see the first prototype done and the plane tickets from france making sure that morette's president and lead tech had, in fact, booked a flight. i didnt want to get everyones hopes up when i was just talking to morette so i had to wait.

I don't know if it was the angle (of the shot) or just the difference in the 4 prototype pictures but some pics look like the sides of the lights don't fit in with the contour of the Contour (no pun intended)... On the latest poster posted (still no pun intended) bottom right hand corner they look like the fit is much better. Is that the angle (of the shot) or just improvement in design???
I hope that these fit nice and flush and define every curve of my CSVT, kind of like a pair of mid 80's spandex shorts! (Not on me of course...)
Oh okay I see... That's what I get for reading the post from the middle down... This forum is Text Book Thick!
I'm ready for my pair! I don't know if you guys seen anything but I've been searching the web for modified lights for the tour forever! I was about two seconds from modding my own like everyone else (until I read this forum in it's entirety now I gotta have these!). I guess that the Civic, Jetta, Focus, Accord and Integra are the haves and us poor Contour owners are the have nots! I think that it sucks. The Contour/Mystique are some of the best kept secrets on the market! CSVT+family with children= affordable but invaluable sports car (with space) & cure for the common mid life crisis...
Shall I say more???

Unless you are Mikey Boy saying "they're ready" then, no.
