question:

doesn't the city light usually go in the hi beam housing? B/c of the cars I've seen (Mercedes etc.) that have the city lights they are in the hi beams so that when the lights are on all 4 lights are lit up i.e the low beams and the hi-beams lit up w/ the city light

The morettes look like the city light is in the low beams. Anyone else notice this?

The city lights are in the low beam. Pics of them on are on the 1st page. The same location as the Mondeo lights. They don't throw enough light to aid in overall lighting in any make model. What's the point of your post?

His point seems clear to me...

If the city lights were in the high beam location, when the low beams were on you would see all 4 lights lit up on the front of the car.

With city lights in the low beam location, you don't get that effect.

Yes, it would be purely aesthetic, as city lights are not bright enough to light the road, but maybe it would look better.

Definitely not complaining here though, I'm all in on these Morettes.

Edit: Nevermind, after looking at the pics again, it would be stupid to have the city lights in the high beam (inside) location. They definitely need to be on the outside.

Not on our Mercedes... it's in the low beam part.

Low beam is the outer square part... high is the inner triangular shaped part.

Don't have a good shot of the city lights working... just looks like really dim headlights.

There's a Mitsubishi ??? VR-4 sedan that also has them in the low beam.

In the foreign GM cars, they're in the high beam... N.A. built vehicles (GM, Jeep, etc.) don't have them.
