Traction is your friend in the EIGHTH mile.
These cars don't exactly have a great low end, so every tenth you can cut off of your 60' time is gonna be a blessing.
I would guesstimate high 10's (10.6-10.99) is you don't bog the launch, etc.
I could be wrong, the quaife could help you alot more than I am estimating, though.

Sounds about right. Last time I went out I ran a 9.9 and a 9.8 but I did not have the mods or experience I have now.

is the LSD THAT much of a help in an 8th? I didn't figure on THAT much of an increase.
Knowledge is power, I guess.

Help. Not really.
The best it does is let you drive through wheel hop without soiling your drawers. The car is the quickest right on the verge of wheel hop. Sometimes even with a little hop.
Insurance. HELL YEAH!

I have to agree with the insurance 110%!!! wheel hop doesn't scare me as much no knowing it will "only" break an axle!

Definitely not high 10s. My contour ran 11 flat, so I know a svt will do a lot better.
