My girl has a 99 wolfsburg edition jetta and in the back seat right above where the grab handles are (Top Left & Right hand side)there are these little lights that kind of resemble sidemarkers, when you press them they come on and they are BRIGHT AS HELL So as an alternative to putting the mystique's light in the back what about these?
It looks like they would be screwed into the headliner and thats it. But what would you tap for power.
P.S. They don't come on when the door opens.

I got hold of a small light from the bottom of the mirror on an Explorer. Ford calls it a puddle light. I've been looking for decent places to install it, but haven't come up with anything yet. I'll be looking around the car this weekend for any good ideas. I'm thinking that I might be able to install it in the C-pillar near the belt, but I'll also be looking for other locations.

Hey,
I just cashed out my Jetta and I played around with those lights when installing a neon in the back. They simply pull out, arent even screwed in to the interior of the car anywhere. I think it would be an easy thing to get from VW or from a junkyard and would be a fairly easy mod that would look pretty damn sweet.
