Hey, take a vote to satisfy my anger!

How would you dispose of my drum brakes?
Abandon to the Wicker People For Volcano Sacrifice Ritual
Fuel-Air Bomb
Laser
Make crude furniture out of them.
Dispose of in proper facilities.

Thanks for the Input guys! Have a nice Day!

Just push enter after clicking on a circle.
I put make crude furniture, they'd make pretty decent end tables that you can put lamps in the center. Or lamp shades.

Opt. 7 - makes a nice set of frisbee plates. Perfect for annoying roommates, ex-es, and loud neighbor kids

As much as I would love to have discs in back, isn't it a PITA to do? My friend just converted his Fox-body mustang's rear and front brakes to Cobra-spec and he said never again. Is it easier to do on the Contour? I really don't like those drums, which is really the point of this thread. At this point I'm almost willing to shell out the cash and just let the brake people do them for me next time.

Yes, much easier. Check the FAQ section for the brake conversion how-to. I just bought todras brakes from him. I had a set for my old car, but sold them 'cause my new Merc has ABS.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Rear disks would be nice, but to tell you the truth I haven't had to much to complain about my drums. Other than they were a bit of a bugger to relace the shoes. But didn't have to do that until 140,000 miles and they still had more meat to go. My stopping power has always been fine in street emergency's.
If you road race your Contique thats another story.
