The only SHOs that had problems were the Gen3 ones with the Cam failure, easy fix too. Makes the car run better too.
F.Y.I. my dad had a 1999 SHO and got the Cam problem fixed car ran awesome after that.
I even drove it, pretty fast car.

LOL at the young kid!

Don't get me wrong, the SHO's are pretty awesome cars, and have considered owning another one. But for what they are(10-15 year old car that takes premium fuel, and a lot of TLC and $$$$), I just can't bring myself to buy another.

Young kid? I'm almost 21.

I know the Gen1s and the Gen2s are getting old. Thats what happens when a car ages, it has problems. DUH!

The engine's are tough as hell. Everything else isn't the greatest though. Suspension etc.

I had a stock 93 ATX SHO and raced it against my 98 CVST that had intake, exhaust, ud pulley, lsd and spec clutch. They were almost equal. We raced about 3 or 4 times and switched driver's in both cars. the MTX is much faster than the ATX...so take it for what you will.
