A Friend of mine had a 95 ATX also and his reverse went and had to pay almost 3k to get it fixed. They told him that if he got it fixed as soon as it went out it would have ran him aobur 1100. he waited till it had to be towed in.

OBD-I can be read via a jumper on the OBD-1 connector.
it makes the CEL flash the code.
flash-flash-pause-flash-long pause = 21 = OBD code 2-1, or 21.

AutoZone will read codes for free! Just stop by one of their stores.

Autozone only reads OBD2 aka 1996 or newer cars and some 1995 cars. The car isn't registered or insured and reverse kinda works on flat fround if the car is reved up really high. I did the key on off sequence for chrysler cars and all I got was code 12 and 55 which is battery disconnected within the last 60 cycles and end of codes.

I keep mine in my ashtry all the time: Ironically, I got it from Autozone. I went to get a sensor, and I wanted to check my codes just to be sure.

Yes, they do.. turn the key from off to ON three times in two seconds, then watch the CEL.
