The other day I pulled my brake handle up and I heard a pop and figured out it was only holding one wheel (cable snapped, I know) but it still held the car fine. Then a couple days ago I pulled it and I heard another pop and it pulled all the way up and would only slighly hold the car (almost not at all). I pulled the center console off and saw the handle had split. It looks like the cable rides on two halves that are pressed together and they split apart so the cable slides in between them and doesnt pull the cable. So my question: How hard is it to replace the handle, any tips/pointers? Thanks guys.
