One PG ZX600TI hooked up to 4 Illusion Audio 8s. Not the most output in the world but it tickles my with sound quality.

those tube things work? Never seen a design like that before.
as for subs i like my old 12 rockford dvc's. Sure they old but they still kick.

I agree.
I have two 3 year old comps sealed at about 1-1.2 cubes with a jbl 300.1. It's kinda decent, but it doesnt shake other cars.
My wiring just came today, can't wait to see what my 10W6V2 will do.

The tubes should work providing the volume of the enclosures and tuning is right.

There are a lot of very nice subs out there
I have two JL Audio 10w7s being powered by a JL 1000/1. They easily could each have their own 1000/1....but ohh well..the install would probably look too cluttered.
