I can't seem to find them available for purchase...

If not, any similar IB recommendations?

Adire has recently opened a new build house down in Chile or Argentina, the result of which is that they have stopped producing speakers for a time.

Last I heard, they are getting ready to offer a whole new production of speakers that will have many new offerings and be quite a bit more expensive. I don't think that they will be selling speakers direct anymore either, from now on you will have to go through a dealer.

An option for you might be:

Elemental Designs 9Kv.2

Thanks path.

I think the .30 qts might be a little low for IB?

I'm thinking:
Dayton 8 Quatro
QTS = .40
Xmax = 9.5mm
RMS = 150w
Price = $49.72/each

Onkyo 8" at www.apexjr.com
or the other 8 listed there.

Or, maybe the TB X8-740C or RE8 from www.respl.com

All good options so far, although my experience with the RE8's has been lukewarm, they seem to have very low power handling (I've seen two and heard of a few others that have blown running on RMS power)

I'm going to give the Tang Band 6.5" "subwoofer" a try from Parts Express. I'll order one when I get back from work today. I think it should be a pretty good choice. I'll be sure to post pics and results.

Specs look pretty good...
Xmax 11.5mm
Fs 35hz
Qts .37

Qts could be better, but I think it'll be ok...

If you want a higher Qts. 8" woofer then the MTX from PE might be a good choice for you:

Is this MTX suitable for a free air/rear parcel shelf setup?

Really any speaker can be run free air, but a qts. above .5 is usually recommended. The MTX would be fine as would the Apex Jr. that Dave suggested.
