The SVT is a good car. Just get one that seems well taken care of.

Also be prepared to take crap from some your peers since it's not an import. Once you learn the car and maybe do some mods, they'll see what's up. They're not the fastest car ever but they have decent get up and go and handling is awesome. And you really can't beat the cost vs. what you get. Depreciation is a good thing for used car buyers, and contours are now about as low as they're gonna get.
