Who has this on their Zetec ATX? How good are they? I'm considering getting one in the future. They cost $225. I don't want to spend more than that for a chip/module.

Need to call each manufacturer and ask them if they have a tune for your computer code.
Sometimes one of the won't have one, so that will make the choice easier.
Superchips seems to be the better choice for the Zetec.

How much does the chip improve the drive?

Well I dont have a chip but I have driven CEG'rs car that have been chipped and flashed you can notice alot on the SVT's at 5500 when it normally kinda slows down it keeps pulling. On the Zetecs it is great alot more go from the motor, throttle response is perfect and its a great add on. Most of the chips or flashes are good for 10+ wheel horse power or more.

An off the shelf program (not dyno tuned) is good for maybe 2-4HP/TQ. The 10+ wHP gains are crap.
Now if its a true dyno tune, you very well could see 10+wHP.
Back to an off the shelf program;
For an ATX, the chip will help the shift points.
For a MTX, it will help to smooth dips in the power band and help a little in throttle response.
Its best to wait till you have completed all other mods then have a chip dyno tuned.
