Shotwell,
Thanks for hosting the bbq! It was great to see you again and glad to see everyone else who showed up: Bugzuki and family (black 1998 SVT), and Auiotour and his buddy (T-Red SVT). Did 1slo make it?

The meet was fun and the bbq was great! We'll have to do it again and have EVERYONE there!

The drive back was uneventful, but what's up with all the bugs in the valley there?? Oh well, my car could stand to be washed again.

Next meet I'll bring more carne asada and some of my NQWF Margaritas (NQWF: Not Quite World Famous).

Hope you have a great rest of the weekend!

Regards,
DDV

You're very welcome. The food was good, especially the steak! The sun came out around 1:00 and didn't let up. I just wish more people would have showed up. Other than my sunburn everything went great!
I never heard from 1slo30 or phlop What's up guys...you don't have my number?

I think the next organized meet should be a fun run. I propose Grand Coulee Dam! Mt Rainier or Mt St Helens would work too. I'll leave that to someone else to organize though

Thanks again to everyone who showed! Many pictures were taken. They'll be posted once they're hosted.

Looking forward to the pics.

Unfortunately, my camera was set to the Macro mode, so the few pictures I took are a little fuzzy.

Shotwell, I also wanted to apologize to Auiotour, his buddy, and your roommate, for leaving in a lurch. But I wanted to make sure you got the extra beer! I intended to go back in to say goodbye to everyone, but by then, I was already in my car, strapping in the fat boy (my cooler).

Take care and look forward to seeing you next time,
DDV

Mmmmmm...carne asada. When I do my headers I will buy and you can cook it up David. I owe you dinner for all the hospitality you have showed me.
-tropictour

Yes, the carne asada today was great!

When you do the headers, I'll buy the meat, prepare it, and cook it up, and you can pick up the tab.

AND, you know what? There's a big, empty garage just BEGGING to have a Contour in it for work. And, it's not too far north of here.

You're welcome for the hospitality and dinner is not required. Just bring your sister with you next time!

Take care,
DDV

DDV, I'll never forgive you for leaving so fast!

I didn't think you darted out of here...

I could see doing some work in my garage. I have air tools PM me and we'll plan it out. DDV can do the grilling this time!

Hey
Thanks for the fun time. It was nice meeting some of you.
Would have been nice if other would have showed up.

I should wash my car, it looked bad next to those clean red ones.

Thanks so much for coming Bugz. It looked like the kids had a blast! You guys can come over any time!

No worries about the dirty car. At least yours was here! Mine is dirtier BTW and less functional.
