A little education eeded. I see mentions everywhere on here about "E0" and "E1". Can someone tell me what that means? Does it apply to CSVT
's only?

Thanks, sorry for the ignorance.

SVTC term, relevant to the CEG community only.

E0 would be a 1998 SVTC.
Softer, rounded off rims.
Dash clock is still on the dash
etc

E1 would be a 1998.5 SVTC
Edgier rims (COBRA-style)
Clock removed.
etc

Not to be confused with the 98 or lower, and 99+ change in horsepower (upped by 5).

...searching does wonders. I never really knew, but just from reading around I'll take a stab in the dark and say it refers to the different SVT generations.

E0 = earlier version
E1= later version

there's a site on the main page w/ differences between different models.

Both terms are commonly misused here on CEG. Many people say E1 when referring to a 99 or 00, which is entirely wrong.

+5 HP due to slightly higher compression ratio.

And don't forget cheaper dash...more prone to warping. And returnless fuel system as opposed to return style...which isn't really an issue anymore anyway.
