Since we're in cali and the turbos dont fly in this neck of the woods, i started looking into superchargers. Think i should build up for one, or is it a waste of time/money?

Well, if you have the money, it is definitely a worthwhile mod. Just make sure to get the upgrade jack shaft and buckshot's intercooler and you should be fine. If it were me, I would consider the difference between $5k for a supercharger done right and $2k for a full 3L. All depends on your priorities... IMHO

although I do like the idea of the supercharger, if you spend the same ammount of money on building up a 3L you can probably pull the same 1/4 times and have similar performaance...
