that is exactly what i will be doing. morette is a top notch company and i would expect nothing less than an excellent product both aestheticlly and performance wise when they release these lights.

Don't know if anyone has brought this up already but, while these lights do look amazing, I'm wondering just how well they will hold up to paint chips, rocks, etc. I'd hate to paint them and then have to re-paint every couple of months. If only there was a lens on the outside that covers the entire housing, they would be perfect.

Is there a lense on the outside of your front bumper and hood? I'd be more worried about repainting an entire bumper(~$300) or hood(~$150) than a headlight(~$50).

Do you guys think they could produce these with an invisible layer around them so nothing touches them?

Yeah! Kinda like regular headlights! 
Sounds like you want Hightower headlights with projectors, not Morettes.

or we can just add another $500+ product to the front of our cars that we will need to repaint beside the front bumper, and oval
Wonder why the new corvette,ferrarri,and any other car that have painted housings that has it done right have a lens covering the painted housing?

It looks like a lot of people won't be buying these just for that reason...... I SAY GOOD!!!!!! It'll be one less car that will look as cool as mine then!

Ummm, have you guys ever heard of 3M clear coat? SP? anyway it protects paint from chips, scratches, etc... that would be a good investment on something like these, they also make custom cut rock shields for glass lens
