I have this same thing. It is normal. Just like when they get wet. Stuff like dew and junk forms on the rotors but after a bit of using the brake the water is forced off. Look at your rotors sometime after a wash and the car has been sitting awhile- a bit of rust forms on the rotors, but is gone as soon as you move it.

Actually I have the exact same problem. I can let the car sit for 1/2 an hour and the sqeaking will come back. Usually after about 1/2 a mile it goes away. I have the Stazi breaks and they have done it since day one. It seems worse when the weather is cold. When over 90 degrees the squeak goes away after a few hundred feet. When wet, like after a car wash or rain they don't sqeak either. Since it goes so soon after I start driving I have been too lazy to take them off. It does seem to be the rear brakes, but happens even if I leave the parking brake off, so I don't think they are dragging. If you find a solution please post it as it has been driving me nuts too.

Could be the common sticking rear parking brake cables.

Could be surface rust on the pads.

I really don't understand why everyone spells it "breaks".

my breaks only sqeak if it is damp. I would assume its just moisture on the rotors and goes away after useing the breaks about twice. if you breaks sqeak alot, its time for pads and or rotors.
