So a long story short, spun my rod bearings and I removed the engine and its just sitiing there waiting to be disasembled, after finals at Portland State. I am wondering about whether or not to turbo my car, partly because a friend can get alot of stuff wholesale but that is still alot of money. So any of you Blown SVT's out there in the Portland area be willing to meet up in the next two weeks and show what a turbo'd SVT 3L or not is like. Cause there is nothing quite like going for a ride to be a great deciding factor. We could meet up for lunch, and for the trouble I could pay. But not like a facncy place, remember I'm a college stundent.

Please Let me know.

Thank you,
Calder

I don't remember anyone around Portland-Salem-Eugene Oregon having a turbo'd Contour yet. (Any surprises for us, Lucky/Toby?) There might be one or two up around the Puget Sound area, but an Amtrack ticket is more pricey than a lunch around PSU.

tjbugs1 and cris'pus: Are things really that slow for you?

Blacksleeper: you've had 47 looks on your question, and now you have my 'don't know' and two posters that don't sufficiently give a flying [censored] about you or your car or your question to respond seriously.

NW CEG must apparently be the wrong place for you to expect help.

Sorry, I just watch best of Alec Baldwin.

If I had something even close, I'd help but my non duratec and esp non turbo ain't much help. Maybe if you come to deception pass on the 25th, a ride up I mean then some SVT'ers can be of help...

I'd really check the Forced induction forum for views of those who had similar quieries and hesitations...that's the best I can do
