Dear SVTOA member,
If you love cars, subscribe to all the magazines, watch the races on TV and dream of getting your chance behind the wheel, the
CAR and DRIVER RACE SERIES , powered by the Precision Racing Organization, is for you and your local SVTOA Chapter.
SVTOA has teamed up with CAR and DRIVER magazine, the world's largest car enthusiast publication and Precision Racing Organization to present the
SVTOA National Championship. CAR and DRIVER understands and shares our passion for performance driving. The CAR and DRIVER Race Series pulls three course elements into one exciting day of driving. Tear through a twisting road course in the AutoX Challenge, squeal your tires around the Skidpad Challenge and put the hammer down in the Acceleration Challenge.
In one day of performance driving the CAR and DRIVER Race SERIES will fulfill each of your driving fantasies.
SVTOA is already working with your local chapter leaders to put these events on your local event calendar and gather a group of members to participate in a series coming to your area soon. It's a great local chapter activity,
but you are not required to be a member of a local chapter to participate! Here's How it Works:
-Each competitor gets 10 runs; three in the AutoX Challenge, four on the Skidpad Challenge and 3 in the Acceleration Challenge course. The price is $99.00 per person.
-The CAR and DRIVER Race SERIES will host the inaugural SVTOA National Championship beginning June 11, 2005 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This inaugural event will also be televised on Spike TV.
-Who has the fastest SVTOA Vehicles in North America? We will soon know as this innovative 40-event competition format travels coast to coast in search of the fastest SVTOA driver.
-SVTOA club members will be scored for Regional SVTOA points, National Points, and for the overall CAR and DRIVER Race Series Championship.
-For more details on the series, to check out their series schedule and to register to participate go to
www.precisionracing.org or call 231-843-0622.
-Check with your local chapter leaders for your SVTOA chapter participation details.
SVTOA... the ride of your life!
