my right rear turn signal went out last week so i changed the bulb.....after changing the bulb it still blinks really fast and its still out...so i put 3 other bulbs in there and i have the same problem....what can this be?
I switched the left and right buld assemlies for the tail lights and it fixed the problem, not sure why, but it worked so you may want to give it a try
The problem is a grounding issue, pull the socket from the right taillight then push the black wire all the way down, have the lights on while doing it so you can see when it turns back on. Basically just play around with the ground wire
There is a resistor or blinker (Insert Here) part that makes the circuit blink. That sounds like it is working or it would be full on or off all the time. Because it's blinking fast means there is not enough load. It does sound like a ground problem. The rear blinker is also the rear blinker bulb correct? Make sure you got the right bulb first because it should have 2 wires inside. Also have someone press down on the brakes and see if the lights get brighter.
If it helps.. there are some wires that go into the steering wheel. Wiggle those wires found around the wheel shifter nub area going into the turn signal switch.

Just take her in and have someone fix it. Sounds like a simple ground short that should not cost much to fix.
