Restaurants:

Local:
Bandido's (Mexican)
Casa Grille (Italian, a couple miles from the hotel)
Casa Ristorante (Same chain, slightly different approach... closer to Dyno, Baileys, etc)
Cork & Cleaver (Steakhouse)
Zesto's (Ice cream, you can see it from the hotel)
DeBrands (gourmet chocolates/desserts) on Coldwater at the SW corner of Washington Center
House of Hunan (Chinese) Next door to DeBrands
Peanut's (Wings/Bar)
Flanagan's (Biggest damn menu I've ever seen... probably 20 pages of whatever you want)

Or if you're boring and unadventurous... Chain: (look up your own addresses)
Texas Roadhouse (Wash Ctr)
Cracker Barrel (Wash Ctr & Lima)
Steak & Shake (On Coldwater... in Amerisuite's same plaza next to WalMart)
Buffalo Wild Wings (BW3s) - Dupont and Lima

BARS:
The Landing, downtown (Columbia Street between Calhoun and Harrison) has a lot of cool bars... my favorites are:
Columbia Street West (usually has bands on weekends)
the 412 Club (412 E. Washington, karaoke, cheap)
Pierres (Marketplace at Canterbury... take Wash Ctr East, it turns into St. Joe Ctr, its at the corner of St. Joe) has like, 8 or 9 bars/clubs in one, if you like the white trash dance club scene

If you want more specific recommendations for a particular type of food, location of a particular chain, or a particular attraction, I'll be happy to give them. Mark/Jim/Ryan can fill in more options, including strip club reviews.

Not TOOOOO bad.. You will see every type of person there from your preppy metrosexual sunglass wearing little sissy b!tches, to your full out leather and mullet, to your thugged out G-Unit wanna be, fat chicks, HOT chicks, you name it.. It's 5 bars in one, so you should be able to find something you like.. Live music in the main bar, rap in one, R&B/Pop in another, karaoke in one, and who knows what in the other? I think it's the one with pool tables, but who cares about that?
