Ok, so I stopped at a light and when it turned green, my car would not go into gear. There is no resistance in the stick when I move it forward and back...Only when I move it from left to right. My clutch feels fine it just feels like some kind of linkage broke. Everything looks good the the stick though...All the connections are fine that I can see...Anyone have any ideas???

Could be a broken line, fallin` off line. Also could be the shift tower. The first week I had my SVT the shift tower broke.

Check underneath the shifter boot (leather boot literally "pops" out of the hole it sits in. Remove shift knob, pull boot off... look at the two linkages that connect to the shifter there.

Also.. look in the engine bay, behind the battery location, and slightly toward the center of the car.. there are both linkages that connect to the bellhousing there, as well... one has a black connector on it, and the other is orange (IIRC)..

could have come undone there, as well.

Ok, I had my car towed to a local shop...They checked all the linkages and everything looks good. Now they are telling me that they need to drop the trans to check it out and make sure everything looks good and also check out the clutch. I know the guys are bullsh*t though because they are trying to charge me $1100 to drop the trans to look at it. What a joke ...I laughed at the guy and told him I'm going to have it towed to a Transmission shop to look at it. After I said that he said he was going to call me back and see if he could work on the price...
