Since there is a little movement around here lately...

What Gasoline are you guys using?

I have been using Petro for as long as I drove... But I have found that on regular 87 octane my car is down on power. Using Petro 89 octane it seems up to normal and gets much better fuel economy. - I think they have some substandard gasoline...

I tried a tank of Shell and it was great!

Who uses what? what works the best?

I always use Esso. Back when i had my mustang and had the engine built i talked to the engine shop. They told me they actually talked to a person from petro-can who tests gas, and that guy said esso has the best gas, then petro, the shell. Personally ive never used shell. Ive heard they put in additives to make your gas gauge read higher.

Help me decide.

here is my first video which was taken with petro 87 octane:

Video 1 - 87 octane

and here is the second video with petro 89 octane:

Video 2 - 89 octane

BTW I know it is slow. It is a 95% stock Focus. It looks like the 89 will edge out the 87 for fuel economy by a big margin so far.

So judging by the videos... Which one appears to be working better for my car?
