Got my short shifter, i love it so much. The install wasnt all that bad. Except now my e brake boot doesnt clip back on

Hey all, just got mine in the mail yesterday. Am I the only one that got the shift knob? The box was all tore up, and the plastic was tore, but everthing was there including the knob. Install was easy, and the throw is fantastically short. Love it!
