Inside the original box for a B&M is not just loose parts. They are sealed flat with plastic wrap to a piece of cardboard. So it just seems odd that they would open each box and cut out the knob from the plastic.

exactly, it would just seem very odd that they would and if they did, it will result in negative feedback because the knob part isn't mentioned in the auction
this is what the box looks like

I don't know if anyone else besides Goonz with an E0 is buying one but E0s require a little trick to make the reverse lockout work after installing a B&M.
All other years AFAIK do not have this issue.
I'll post it sometime to show everyone.

Please do. I am considering buying one but I have heard it's a biotch to install and get the reverse lockout working correctly. Any info regarding the install/"little trick" would be appreciated

with the Momo:
After hours of comparing the B&M with the Steeda, I decided to get the Steeda shifter. (A little more work but worth it to me) As far as Momo? IMO...Overpriced ricer products.
