But for some reason the next day while driving around there was no oil and the light didn't come on. As you can guess something snapped inside and the car was dead. Much as I'd like to change my own oil there is this level of fear that I'm going to kill the car. I have a Mercury Mystique 1998 2.0 4-banger. Do I use that same filter listed above and what oil should I get? Does anyone have a How-To change oil and filter with pictures for these Zetec engines? I need help to be free of this. I've been taking my car to superlube and they only seem to use the Pennzoil oil filters and oil. And to make matters worse they like to put in other grades than 5w30 that might only be killing my VCT?
