ah, that would be 99%...

The mix of the 11.75 and 13" front should be a pretty good pairing. My main focus on the rear was more cosmetic than function to offer those front kit buyers something that would match on the rear. True 'performane' gains will be minimal but supported on paper at least if one wanted to run the numbers.

The fit of the fronts to the rear is just foolish talk. There are so many simple things to consider we won't go into the issue of way too much rear piston area.

So the rears do 1% of the braking? Ford spent hundreds of dollars on the car so you can stop better in reverse, and for a 1% performance gain? Try 70%. I don't know the exact number for the Contour, but they are not 99%. If you showed me real evidence, I'd believe 90%, maybe. And I doubt you'll see that on modified suspension.

Yeah exactly.

I don't need slotted/drilled rotors for everyday driving or the occasional funtime ... but the rears just look so puny.

I guess there's options for enlarging the rears to fit under the stock svt wheels and be solid rotors as well.

Sounds like the conversation we just had . I was actually surprised to catch you awake at 6:43 GMT Todd . Anyway, it was a pleasure speaking to you and thank you for clarifying that the rear relocation kit will not lose the handbrake. You just got yourself an order! Get em' out to me when you can .

It was a bit tongue in cheek Phil, here:

Oh, yes, I remember... I was heavily involved in that thread as well. That explains my Deja Vu.

If this was the conversation the other morning before I left the house; you never called me back. About all I recall is that you are in Florida! Give me a jingle again.

I've got 12.25" on the rear of mine with the standard calpier. They dont look that big because i'm running 19's.

They look sweet with my 13.25" fronts and Brembo calipers
