I should be getting a 95 2.5 5 speed "donor" car soon, and it has traction control. My car is the same thing but with no traction control. What would the steps be to put it into my car. And how hard would it be to do.

Don't bother. I turn mine off a lot. It doesn't help if you know how to drive. I keep thinking about gettin rid of mine.

But I just figure it would be nice in the winter because they don't like to plow the roads that much in northern mn.

Yeah, I live in the sticks in NE PA, it's bad here for much of the winter. Just get some good snow tires: Bridgestone Blizzaks, Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice, Nokian Hakkapeliitta , etc. T/C just takes your foot off the gas. You can manage that, I'm sure.

HA! I'd like to see the day when PennDOT actually does something about the turnpike....but I probably won't be alive when it happens 70 years from now.

I have traction control, well had. Doesn't really do much even an average driver wouldn't gain to much with it.It was a pain to remember to shut it off when going on a dyno or going through the emissions dyno so I had mine disabled when I had my dyno tune done. Mike did it right from the laptop. He went into the program and disabled it that way if I sell it or ever want it back all that has to be done is hook up the program and reinstall the TC. The cool thing is I didn't have to disconnect or remove anything.

I live in Brackney, near Binghamton, NY. There is another n00b from Tunkhannok, some guy I bought my wheels from who lives in Wilkes-Barre (he's not on much anymore - sold his car?) Someone in Fairdale, where I will be moving next summer when I get married... ummm, a lot of people in state college, where I go to school... where do you live?
Edit: there you are, Dan! There I go skimming again.

Mine is mechanical, no dice. I forgot to turn mine off on an auto-x run once Not as bad as the time I forgot to kill my phone and my g/f called just as I launched... Man was that a bad run! My concentration went right to hell. It was the first run of the day, too, so it took forever to get myself straightened out. Eh, excuses, excuses.
