ok, the mesh is here.
but its not cut yet, that will be happening early next week.
i am going to post what i have for names and stuff.
and all i need you guys to do is let me know if i have made a mistake.
i dont want this post to get out of hand.
alot of questions were asked and answered in the interest check post.
just to clarify:
an SVT set is three pieces of mesh, one piece big enough to do the grill and one piece for each bumper.
the bumper pieces will be rough cut to size and have slots cut out so they can be slid right onto the factory mounting tabs.
$50 shipped.
SE set: 2 pieces of mesh.
one for the grill and one for the lower bumper roughly cut to size.
i DO NOT know how this can be mounted to the bumper easily.
i need to get a closer look at an SE bumper to determine the proper size to cut the mesh.
but as for mounting, that will be left up to you.
i suppose it could be epoxied to the back of the bumper or fiberglassed.

Elky, I have a question for mounting SVT front bumper mesh: When i bought my SVT there was no front bumper mesh at all..just a empty opening. There are the tabs but no clips. I realize i can use binder clips (the things you squeeze together and it opens the other side..used for pinching larege amounts of 8x11 paper together etc.) as a replacement. However, the way you cut the mesh to fit the tabs will it work using these kind of clips. Im assuming so, just dont want to find out the hard way.  thanks, -justin

as for how it is shipped...
i roll it and put it into a 12"x12"x6" box.
don't worry, itis aluminum, you can unroll it and straighten out any waves it might have in it by bending it slightly in the opposite direction of the bend.

those should work fine.
the mesh is cut so it slides snuggly over the factory bumper tabs. the factory insert just helps secure it.
you could use the binder clips alone, or buy a new insert and cut out the criss-cross and use it to secure the mesh.
as for painting options, as long as you clean all the oil off and prime and paint with a decent paint, you should be ok.
