That part of that statement is false. I know that Rick walked away from a Z06 on the interstate coming back from the tuning session in K.C. last year, before the cooler and a few other upgrades since then. Mighty nice when you go from a Contour to get in a Z06 and the 'vette feels sloooooooow.

Congratulations, the svt may be quick, but it's hard to match the pleasure of a rwd car on a road course.

Add to that boatloads of potential and it's an easy decision to make.

Out of curiousity, why not get something a little cheaper and budget in a spec miata?

Nothing Personal against a Miata, but for a 7K loan and my down payment I can be into a pretty sweet car that can alternate as a daily driver.

The cheapest way to drive a car with near-perfect handling is a Miata. And a Miata makes a decent DD with a hard top and a set of stock wheels with Blizaks. But a dedicated sports car and a sepereate DD is more fun.
