I found out the clunking of the past 2 weeks yesterday.
I have 1 if not 2 broken front springs!!!
I'm going to go to the dealer asap to see if I can get this under warranty. I've only got 111K Kms on it!
If not, I think some of you have done spring strut replacement right . Maybe get some upgraded suspension

Bummer.
But, how long can you wait? (Remember, I have H&R springs to install and will have leftover SVT springs!)
Good luck and keep us posted.

Hmmm, how safe is it to drive on 4 front springs haha. But seriously, will it eventually rupture and blow into my tire like I've heard so often or will it stay there cause the spring pressure is obviously less? How old are the springs? I'm way interested! There's a possibility for a 2 car swap meet then.

My car's a '98, but it only has less than 36,000 miles on it.

<-------Surprised Well the warranty work is getting done! I'm not sure if I can upgrade to SE or SVT springs, I'll know soon. I guess I won't need anyone's right now. But I might still get them, for a later date. Thanks guys. I might be able to make it to the seattle meet then
