alright everyone heres my problem..everytime i go to save a pic now it saves it as a bitmap. It wont let me change it to a jpeg either. so the pics are becomeing huge files..
does anyone know a way to change the setting back so it saves it as a jpeg...

Im in the same boat on my laptop, its getting kinda annoying, especially when you try and save an animated pic or something.

That's so funny, we were just talking about this today at my house, since my desktop just started doing this as well.
I'm running Win2k3 with all the latest updates on my desktop, but my XP and 2k machines don't have this problem.
Sure wish I could find what did it, tho, its really annoying.

Tools > Internet Options > (General Tab) Temporary Internet Files > Delete Files
The cache folder gets corrupted or something, I don't recall. But it should work after that.

Oh of all the dumb fixes... Man, thanks a ton, I use the save picture option all the time, and it was getting annoying to remember to run ImageRobot to convert them before I could use them.
