Concerning the HL switch price... I called yesterday evening about this. The reason it was listed as $35 was because of it being listed separately from the hvac panel. The price of $25 was a discount for it being sold together with the HVAC. I told them to list it separately from the hvac because there were people who only wanted one or the other, not knowing that this would increase the price. I called yesterday told them to go ahead and relist the hvac and HL switch together as a package. So anyone who has already signed up for either one must sign up again for the package. You will not be charged for the for the single hvac or HL switch. I will post the updated link as soon as they send it to me.

Here is the email they sent me concerning the pricing:

Quote:

Hello Jason,
The reason it would have been the $25 is based on the material being used to the most efficient means in the production. The more product we can add to our sheets of material, the cheaper we can make a set for. We also have to do another die template for cutting as well as a separate production run setup.
Basically since the AC panels will be run separately, we cannot justify bringing the cost down. If it were a set (AC Panel + Headlight Panel), then we would be simply adding onto a production, and now we will have to run separate productions, so the cost will be higher.

Hope that makes sense.

As I said, this $25 price IS the discounted price. Keep in mind, they are custom making these for us. If you want haggle over the price, feel free to email them.

The HVAC is a two color panel. As far as the other technical questions, you'll have to contact SRP. I have no idea.

So when is the HL switch and HVAC going to be listed as a package? I haven't found any updates to the site yet.

As I said, I'll post it as soon as they send me a link.

Keep in mind that as of yet, no one has volunteered a headlight switch. Production cannot start until they get one to use as a template. If you have one, PM me.

If none turn up soon or no one is willing to give one up, I can try and take a trip to the junk yard to get one. Let me know.

Don't delay. If you can grab one for pretty cheap (shouldn't be more than a few bucks) do it. We havn't had anyone volunteer to donate an extra one as of yet so the faster we get one the sooner these parts go into production.

Same thing I just said....but for the HVAC. Not sure if we have a donor for that piece yet either.

They don't need one for the hvac.

SRP just got back to me with the updated HVAC/HL link. They also decided to give us the option of buying the hvac and hl switch separately, but at a higher cost.
Quote:

Hello Jason,
I had the development updated, and we decided to let people purchase the Headlight Panel and the AC panel separately along with the option of purchasing the combined set.
The price will be $5 higher than normal to purchase either of the panels separately, but we figure that the development will fair better should people have that choice.
We also updated the amount of Buy-Ins for the Gauges, and it is currently up to 9, so we will need just one more person to start production that.

Anyone who wants to sign up for the hvac/hl switch, either together or separately, click HERE

Anyone who hasn't already signed up for the gauges click HERE

The gauges are up to 9 people, so many of you haven't signed up yet. Please do so. We need one more person to start production.

I hope this isn't the old CEG attitude--everybody wants one until it's time to do something.

If we've already signed up for the h/l switch and the HVAC separately, how do we tell them to delete us when we sign up for them as a set? I know you said they'd delete the separate sign ins, but how do know they've done it since our names aren't posted?

When I talked to them at the end of the week, you were the only one who had signed up for the single hvac and they said they would cancel you're order. I'll email them to double check.
