I went to the site and clicked on the HVAC buy in and the pic at the top seems to only be flashing from white to blue...no green (aka no 2 colors like the gauges). Will the HVAC be 2 color as well, and also the light switch?

2ndly, we can wire all 3 parts to the same resisitor so that they match correct? Also if we buy the 6 color resisitor would we be able to wire all 3 to the same so that all 3 have the matching 6 color?

Lastly, where is everyone plan on running the wires for the light switch and HVAC? i definatly DO NOT want to be seeing wires. I've seen pics of indiglo's in ppls cars but never up close so thats why Im asking this. Im sure there is a way everyone does it but since I have never seen it done its new to me.

Thanx

p.s. why is there no one on the buy in yet?? Im assuming everyone is waiting for the price to be fixed and then everyone will be jumping on. Hope thats the reason, wouldn't want this to fall short when its so close to being done.

Relax dude. Their counter isn't working. I sent all my info just now for the gauge cluster and checked the counter and it's still showing 0 of 10. They'll get enough peeps. Not to worry.
I was reading some people have a transformer for the guages. Do you need this? Or can you power it off the existing wiring? He mentioned it was brighter with the transformer. Any body have pics of with transformer and without?

Hello Jason,

The Headlight panel would not be a problem, we would obviously need a template panel for that though.
We could add it to the AC Panel Development, but it would be an extra $24 for it as it is basically a whole nother panel.
Let me know if you need us to add it and I will have it done, and the total price for the whole set (AC panel & Headlight Panel) will be $58.99.

So,

Gauges: 49.99
HVAC: 34.99
Headlight: 24.00

If anyone has a headlight switch you can donate, PM me so I can send you their address.

How can the HVAC & Headlight Panel cost more then the Gauges. The Gauges are at least twice the material as the HVAC and the tiny Headlight panel. Do they even know how small these pieces are? This is why I said to try and get a complete set for one discounted price. If they want to sell the pieces separate as well for a higher price that is fine. The complete set (gauges, HVAC, headlight) should be under $100 shipped. I purchaced a brand new set of FORD CONTOUR 98-00 SVT 7CLR NITE GLOW GAUGES (El-Glow) from Autobacs for $30.00 +$9.75 for shipping ($39.75 shipped)

Now the gagues I mentioned did come off of ebay but the company had a "ebay store" on there and you could get then any day of the week on a "buy-it-now" price for just about any car out there. I expect the cost to maybe be a little less on ebay but not much since it's a group buy and they are going to sell 15-20 sets it seems like they are raping us on HVAC & Headlight panel by charging us more for less

Jason...I appreciate you doing this as I'm sure everyone does but I also know you only wanted the gauges and not all the other pieces. It does not sound like you tried to negotiate a "complete set" for a discounted price? This appears to be what most of the participants wanted. If you don't want to deal with this option that is fine just let us know and somebody else can negoitiate with them for a package price. If this is the case I have no problem taking to them...please let us know ASAP.

Thanks for your effort either way it goes.

I don't like the idea of paying an extra $10 for the headlight switch either but these are specially made products I've been trying to get for 2 years--as have alot of other people. After what we've gone through, the bad GB and now the distinct possibility of finally getting what we've all been crying for, I don't want it screwed up over $10.00.

Concerning the HL switch price... I called yesterday evening about this. The reason it was listed as $35 was because of it being listed separately from the hvac panel. The price of $25 was a discount for it being sold together with the HVAC. I told them to list it separately from the hvac because there were people who only wanted one or the other, not knowing that this would increase the price. I called yesterday told them to go ahead and relist the hvac and HL switch together as a package. So anyone who has already signed up for either one must sign up again for the package. You will not be charged for the for the single hvac or HL switch. I will post the updated link as soon as they send it to me.

Here is the email they sent me concerning the pricing:

Quote:

Hello Jason,
The reason it would have been the $25 is based on the material being used to the most efficient means in the production. The more product we can add to our sheets of material, the cheaper we can make a set for. We also have to do another die template for cutting as well as a separate production run setup.
Basically since the AC panels will be run separately, we cannot justify bringing the cost down. If it were a set (AC Panel + Headlight Panel), then we would be simply adding onto a production, and now we will have to run separate productions, so the cost will be higher.

Hope that makes sense.

As I said, this $25 price IS the discounted price. Keep in mind, they are custom making these for us. If you want haggle over the price, feel free to email them.

The HVAC is a two color panel. As far as the other technical questions, you'll have to contact SRP. I have no idea.
