H&R springs? I unfortunatly missed the last one and now i need them but all prices have gone up.

Well last i was informed H&R had recently re-distributed their costs, raising all H&R sets for our cars at roughly 220-230, before you could find them under 200.

EDIT: This is an e-mail i recieved from SP:

We just got the word from our H&R supplier that our prices have gone up dramatically on the Contour springs. We're now paying almost the $219.00 we had them listed for. We just had to raise them to $229.00.

interested, but it depends of the price.

I've contacted Joe at SP Motorsports to see if he'll host or provide for this GB, I'll post in here as soon as i learn anything new.

EDIT: I'm leaving for Florida friday morning and won't be back until tuesday night, but anything before then and i'll let you guys know.

Last group buy I got in on these springs, they were an amazing $189! I was pleased with the company that dealed with the GB too.

UPDATE: I recieved this e-mail from Joe at SP.

"As for a group buy, we don't have time to organize it, and with our profit margins being so small on H&R's, I don't think we can be competitive. The group might want to go the shox.com or someplace like that to see what kind of deal they can get.

I have just e-mailed Shox.com and am waiting for a reply. I will keep everyone posted on this.

Another Update:

Shox.com doesn't make enough buisness off of the H&R's to do a GB, BUT they will GB Eibach's (i'd avoid them) or B&G's. Here is what i was sent.

"We don't sell enough H&R to get a good enough price on the H&R. We can do a group buy on Eibach or B&G springs. Most of our customers buy Eibach. We can do $211.00 each for Eibach
and $161.00 each for B&G.

Post up your thoughts so we can see what we can get rolling.

Personally i think we should GB on the B&G's if we decide on either of these, the Eibach's sag over time and will look sh!tty.

EDIT: Shox.com usually sells B&G for $189 and Eibach's for $239

B&G is a 1.6 inch drop
Eibach is a 1.2, but sags over time
