If anyone lives in a climate with cold winters, i would avoid Optima batteries. There are better options for a little less, and much better options for just a little more. I get it whether the radio is on or not. I'm going by my mechanic's advice. I had my original one with me which he offered to switch (so he wasn't trying to sell me a new one). I trust him to tell me the truth since I've been using him for several years. WA 2 TUFF SVT 2000 Tropic Green SVT Born 1/28/2000-1975 out of 2150-only 207 made. Some new pics
