Well I have all the quotes together and we can now publish a price for the 24mm hollow anti-sway bar. Unfortunately I believe that the cost of materials, fabrication and shipping will put this bar significantly higher than the market will bear. With the investments required ATI would have to retail this product at $255.00. The largest issue is the price of material, this is not a common US stocked item and so I would have to have it made and there is a minium lot fee for the material. Of course the group buy would result in a discounted price, but even that would be close to $190-200. ATI would need to sell about 200 bars at $190 to cover the cost without any proffit.

I took this on knowing that the group was looking to spend about $150 for the bar, so I understand if the group chooses to look elsewhere for the bar or to terminate the buy.

unfortunately i think that is over the price cap for most of CEG. the BAT bar is going to be a popular upgrade soon.

i would really be surprised if there was still a large amount of interest in this.

i'd still be in for up to 220 if all the said parts are included

I'm still in for now, depending on final timeframe.

I've already got a BAT bar on the way, as this took a little longer than I had expected, and I needed to get something back there right away.

I think 225 is a lil more than i can afford, but if that's all hardware included, i'd consider it. Otherwise, i think it's a BAT bar for me

Final Time Frame....

The bars will begin to be available 90 days after recipt of orders. It will take the mill 60 days just to get the material to the fabrication shop. With travel time from the fabrication shop to the heat treaters and then to the coating facility 90 days will be optimistic. But I could start to see bars about that time frame.

I will look into hardware. That should not be as tough to obtain as the steel. If the interest is still there I'll see if I can include the hardware, but at a minimum that would push the price from $190 to about $200 at the group buy level, probably not affecting the retail cost of $255.
