I wouldn't recommend it.

You will drastic decrease the life of the struts.

On top of that the OEM rear struts don't last for crap as is.

Spend the extra money and get the SPAX or Bilsteins.

It will pay for itself in a about a year or so when you don't have to {pay to??} change the struts and get another alignment. Again...

I blew out svt struts that had ~50k miles on them in about 2 months with a mild drop (roush springs) and remember I live in south georgia, not even many twisty roads here that can really wear out struts.

As you know SVTDriver, I have eibachs on my svt right now. I am going to put my H&R's on very soon. Id recommend KYB-GR2 struts, affordable, and youll be FINE with the lowering springs. The springs usually dont lower the car to the ground, so youd be fine with those.

actually the KYB's are crappier than thye SVT struts and will blow out real quick with lowering springs on them. if you're not going to buy koni's which are the best option at lest get bilsteins everything else is a waste of money as it will go to pot real quick.

NO YOU WON'T!!!

People need to stop passing bad information!

KYB's are a stock replacement strut. As in STOCK contour. Not even 95-97 SE or SVT specs.

They have a stock length rod and stock dampening and rebound.

I wouldn't even use them as replacements for stock personally.

Used to thing the same thing until I started seeing BAT springs with Sprintlines. Look at Rogers car.
