Here is an idea I am just throwing out. How about everyone that registers for SZ gets a name tag w/ their screen name on it. That way, when walking around at the meet, you could say "oh look their is kermitthefrog" for example. The reason for this being, I'm not going to recognize Hector, for example, but I would recognize the screen name "LocoZs/c". Most of us don't meet on a face-to-face basis.

Yeah, we did this at SZ 02. We've tried to keep costs to a minimum this year for everyones sake, because I know people had a hard time coming up with $80 for last years SZ. If we can fit it in our budget, we'll see if we can do it.

At SZ-02 , the nametags did have your screenname on 'em ... I'd have to assume  that the ones for this Spring Zing would too . It's pretty cool to put faces with the (screen)names .

Jim, if need be I would (and I am sure some others) would pitch in another $5 to get nametags.

IIRC, the design, materials and labor to produce the SZ02 and SZ01 nametags were donated. I could be wrong. If anything, only the carriers & neck straps were paid for. It's not likely to happen again. The CEG is notorious for not putting its money where its mouth is, collectively speaking.

Once we figure out how many people are coming, I will donate the money needed for name tags, as long as total cost price isn't over lik $75 or so. As this trip is gonna cost me a lot already. I take the days off tomoroww.

thats an excellent idea. i think the expense is in the plastic holders though. i think having names and screen names together is important, so you can tell who is who (between the web and real world). i would gladly pay a couple extra bucks to do it.
i think ive seen todras and loco's mugs around enough to pic 'em out though.
