For my true dual I just got today, its aluminum piping, and I was just wondering if I shud coat it with some high-temp engine paint, to keep the piping from breaking down, and eventually rusting??

Is it aluminum or aluminized steel? I am thinking the steel and here in Michigan it would be a good idea to hit it with some hi temp stuff just to keep the salt and stuff off of it.
