Well guys i want to put an Svt T/B on my car and was wondering what kinda problems i would run into. Is this a direct bolt on or do i have to jimmey rig it on because i have a ATX.

It is a direct bolt on. You will need a new throttle cable, bracket, and gaskets (and crusie control)

throttle cable was kinda a PITA...well at least for me it was.

Wouldn't you have to match the opening to the size of the UIM?

Really wouldn't be worth it though, the intake port on the UIM is the same size as your T/B. You probably wouldn't realize much of a gain without going with an SVT UIM.

But, if you ever get your UIM off, take a dremel and grind out the bumps inside the port, good for at least a HP or two.

Nope.. the throttle body / linkage is totally different. You'd have to get the new T/B, Mount, Cable, yadda yadda yadda. :rolleyes:

It'd be better to do everything all at once, SVT UIM, LIM, TB, Mount, Cable. wouldn't be TOO expensive..
