225 would work, but I'd think the 205 would be a bit narrow to stretch out on a 7.5" rim.

215/50/16 would be another option...

Here's a tirerack search for that size...and I know www.1010tires.com also has Falken/Toyos in that size as well.

It isn't (I run it). 7.5" is still narrower than the section width, and allows for max stiffness in the sidewall=quicker turn-in, etc. It's also in the acceptable range of widths for that size tire (205/55-16). 225 would put more rubber on the road, however, so it's a tradeoff.

I was thinking the Kosei's were 7" in the 16" diameter. I just bought a set of those in 17" with 225 race rubber on them. I see that the 7.5 is in the range for 205, but I prefer to usually go more midline as far as recommended width, but then again I've got 245's mounted on a set of 7" rims too so I went the opposite route on those.
