95s do not have a control unit like the 96+ cars do, it is vacuumed controlled, the linkage is in the same place as any other car, it is under the tb at the lower intake manifold

I have a 95 SE as well.

If you look under the throttle body, in the "vee" of the block you should see a metal linkage (a 1/4" thick sort of bent wire really)

With the engine running you'll want to rev the motor so it goes above 3800 RPM. You'll see that linkage move as the revs rise above 3800 ( I think 3800) RPM. When you let go the linkage moves back again.

On 95's the linkage is vacuum acuated. If you're having performance problems the first thing to check is if that linkage moves.

Also, the linkage snaps in both ends into little round black clips. Those tend to break and the linkage falls loose on one or both ends. Heck, you may not even have the linkage anymore!

Go out there an check. Bring a flashlight! It's hard to see in even good light. Look for that metal rod (linkage) and see if it's moving back and forth. If not get back with us and we'll help you out.

Look around this area (under the throttle body, deeper against the engine)
