For those interested in attending a meet I'd like to extend an invitation to CEG to join us (Taurus Car Club) for a combo meet. This will be our 3rd annual meet, with both previous meets turning out to tbe a lot of fun for all who attended. We had our cars (Taurus/SHO/Sable) in attendance but we're not limiting it to only those vehicles. This year we're looking to get 2-3 groups together for a nice fun weekend. Our 1st meet was at Norwalk Raceway, the 2nd at Gingerman and the 2005 will be at Mid-America Motorplex. The emphasis is on a road course and car show.
For more specifics on location, dates, and misc info. you can go here:
TCCA 2005 Meet
I can handle specific questions via PM either here or on our site.

A quick update. Also available during the meet will be the on-site 1/4 mile dragstrip. The program at the strip on Fridays are for street racing and the event starts at 7pm with the gates opening at 6pm.

Thanks for posting that up. I'll definitely try to be there as long as my car is still running after our Spring Zing event. The strip is only 1/8 mile at MAM for your info. I've run on the road course several times so if you've got any questions, let me know.
Thanks, Rick

Another cool thing I can't make it too. its too far for me anyways about 800 miles, by the time the weekend would be over my car would be due for an oil change.

So? I've driven 1000+ miles for a 3 day gathering. Got home, after another 1000+ miles and changed the oil. Plus, why bring up an old thread?

Chris, you coming out to this? You can stop here the night before since I'm only 2 hours from the track.
