I took the GL into the shop the other day to get the cooling system flushed out (previous owner decided to never change the coolant, so its like mud in there now)

Anyway, right away he's like, "oh, its a Contour, ya, they're nothing but problems. That was Fords world car (sarcastically). Im surprised its made it to 125,000 miles"

My response was that while Contours have their known quirks (especially the v6's from what Ive read), once you get through them, you've got a nice car thats really fun to drive. I told him that it would surprise me if this zetec car ran another 100k before it gives up.

Ive also let him do a little work on my mustang before, but after trashing the Tour, I can tell he just doesnt get it, and Im not sure hes going to get my business any more either.

There's a furniture store called "Oak Express" with an ad campaign that uses that slogan. I know they are "national" but I don't know if they are everywhere.

Anyway, the ads are funny. Like some guy will be driving around with his GF, and say, "We're lost. I'm going to stop and ask for directions." Then the voiceover comes on and says "That's not natural..."

Another one they have a Senator hooked up to a lie detector, and he tells the truth.

I can't remember the others.
