OP MLuko Hard-core CEG\'er M Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 1,899 Cottage Grove	i started my car early this morn. cuz there was frost on the windows... anyways.. starts up fine.. little timing chain rattle..not too worried about it because my other contour does it too but anyways... i'm backing out of my driveway and all of a sudden it starts to howl.. and the RPM's start surging really bad.. could it be my egr is clogged or what? i wanna know before i dump money into mods... My sister's V6 1995 Mystique had the moose, it would moan loud and stall the engine. The dealer put in a kit of tubes and hoses, which I think would have been stock in the 1997 Tour, maybe try putting back the factory junk as a test.
