Not true.
All 01+ standard 3 liters are oval port with the cam driven W/P.

Ahh thank you for clearing that up.. I was on the verge of not entering that post as I thought that was the case. And now that I think about it, I'm a retard as my 2000 Taurus 3L was an oval port and well, I have a cam driven w/p..
As for the MPG, neither of my motors were tuned.. The 2.5L had only Bassani and open K&N filter. The 3L has run strong and flawless since day 1. Been waiting until all mods are finished before tuning. But have seriously considered the Tweecer unit.
