I checked out the FAQ on the shifter forks and it sounds like thats what i should be replacing on my next rebuild. I had a rebuild done 30k ago and the third gear syncro is going on it again.
The FAQ said if i had issues putting the car into gear i should be replacing the shifter forks with the new updated ones. However after reading the post more, it sounds like that only happens on the 98+. I have a 96-97, supposely it said that year tranny uses a different system and i cant utilize these new shifter forks.
Any suggestions on fixing it? I dont want to keep fixing this stupid thing. It's too expensive.
I want the new shifter forks, and what could i do about my syncro issue?
Thanks

Yes you can use the revised forks on pre98's. I have them in mine.
