I know it's not gonna fit w/o mods and fabs, but whatcha generally think about it? Increase your performance and horsepower with this BRAND NEW exhaust header manufactured in the USA by PaceSetter. Fits 1997-2003 Ford Escort ZX2, 2.0L engine. (Will not fit sedan.) Part #70-1168. Mandrel-bent mild steel tubing with 3/8" thick steel flanges. Comes with manufacturer warranty, hardware kit and gaskets. Black paint finish. (This header is available with Metallic-ceramic coating, please email me for details if interested.) This header not emissions legal in California.

I think there are better headers on the market.

No way will that exhaust fit our Cat. Looks like all different car Zetec engines have different exhaust and emissions component placement.

but I don't know about pacesetter in general
also you'd need to get rid of that flange...or get a focus aftermarket cat and custom downpipe

Pacesetter makes SOME good stuff, but not zetec headers.

Although I did aquire a cheap-o shorty header a while back that I plan on installing sometime after I get inspected for my registration...salvage rebuild, blah, blah, blah
What could it hurt? If it doesn't work, I'll go back to stock...not looking to break any land speed records here, just freeing up some air

Pacesetter is better known as pace ruster. It doesn't look good and the paint is for shipping purposes only because it will burn off as soon as you run it. There are other shorty headers on ebay to be had for $99 and they are ceramic coated or chrome not primed to prevent rusting during storage/shipping. It won't last!
